VIG Theatre Company is the musical theatre branch of Mayzmusik Performing Arts Academy. Established in 2002, and run as a community theatre group, VIG produce at least one full scale musical per year, and are multi-award winners at the National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA).
VIG is run by its founder, and our Principal, Emma-Jayne Morris, and Vice Principal, Lisa-Marie Harris, on a completely voluntary basis. They aim to constantly challenge their performers to push the boundaries of amateur theatre, and strive to set a high standard of performance from their members. With cast members ranging from teenagers to pensioners, VIG bridges the gap between generations, proving that theatre can bring people of all ages together.
VIG Theatre Company is open to anyone over the age of 12 who has an enthusiasm for theatre. There isn’t, and never has been, an audition to secure a place in the company. There is a small membership fee which is a nominal contribution to weekly hire of rehearsal space and insurance.
